A Room For Baby: Printables and Book Giveaway (Ends 2/11)

We have been thinking a lot about starting the next generation in our house. I said thinking...there is no baby news to report yet. My brother just had his first and many of my friends and family members seem to be popping kids out left and right.

I guess you can say I have baby fever. I love the little fat balls of fluff that smell like yummy goodness. And as I prepare to take the plunge into that next stage of life I have consulted many sources. Pinterest I must say has become one of my favorites. I love using it to envision how I will transform our spare room into something perfect for a baby.

Umm, so you can say I like to put the cart before the horse. I think it is important to image life as you want it to be and not necessarily as it is. But then I realize that having a baby isn't just about a cute room. A baby is a whole other life that I will be responsible for. Not just after its born but for many months while it is in the womb.

How do you prepare for that?

The only way I know how... I have spent a lot of time in my Bible. I believe that the state of my mind and my heart are just as important as the state of the nursery (when baby comes home from the hospital).

Wall Art

That's another reason why I love Angie Tolpin's book Redeeming Childbirth (check out my review here). She really helps women with the hard work of preparing themselves for the responsibility of becoming a mom. And I am so glad to have the honor of giving away a signed copy here along with some printable wall art I created.

So while you pick out paint swatches and figure out which crib to buy do a little something for
yourself. Enter to win this giveaway.
